How about those who buy and read these books aren’t really believers. Maybe a few are the Lord’s and He will deliver them from the deceit, but so much error and heresy is promoted within the church under the guise of biblical truth that it isn’t hard to understand why so many claim to be believers but are instead lost. Didn’t Jesus warn us that this is the case?
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:21-23
Preaching a false gospel by incorporating worldly wisdom into the teaching of God’s Word deceives and leads astray just as sure as any other perversion of the truth. God’s Word is the bread that we live by. God bless you:)
