Hi everyone. Thanks for stopping by at the soundboard. As you can see from the catch-phrase, absorb grace – vibrate grace, my purpose for blogging is to share what God’s grace is doing in my life. Not that my life counts much – but God’s grace does, and is worth boasting about with all that I am: “But by the grace of God I am what I am and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me” (1 Cor. 15:10).

Like the soundboard of a guitar, I want to receive and absorb the grace that God plays into my life and then live out the life of Christ in such a way so that others can hear the music. But to really understand why it’s called grace, all you have to do is look at the recipient. As a poor sinner, I don’t deserve such kindness. And in light of my persistent struggle against sin, the fact that God still loves me through the death of his Son is no small thing; it’s Amazing!

Each week I plan to make 3 or 4 entries. For some time now, I’ve been reading from other bloggers that I admire and have taken in their wise counsel on what makes a good and helpful blog. By God’s grace I hope to serve and encourage you in the faith so that your life would “be to the praise of the glory of his grace” (Eph. 1).
